Warranty Terms

Warranty Period:
12 months from the date of invoice against any manufacturing defects. This warranty does not apply to second hand or refurbished equipment. In case any defect is rectified under this warranty, the original warranty of 12 months shall not be extended.

Customer shall inspect and check upon receipt of equipment, and should there be a claim for warranty, all claims shall be made in writing stating the defect and the nature of defect. All such defective parts will be repaired and where repair is not possible shall be replaced by Hydrolift. The defect under warranty shall exclude the normal wear and tear of the equipment.

In case of wrong reporting of the warranty claim, Hydrolift shall invoice the customer any or all the costs incurred in inspection and assessment of such damages

Warranty of the equipment shall be considered null and void under the following conditions:

  • When the equipment is not operated as per the instructions provided in the O&M manual
  • When the equipment is serviced or repaired prior to reporting of the warranty at a place not authorized by Hydrolift or not carried out by Hydrolift authorized personnel.
  • Hydrolift is not liable for defects arising out of materials provided by, or a design stipulated or specified by customer.
  • Hydrolift is not liable for defects arising from overload conditions, faulty maintenance, faulty installation, modifications made without approval
  • Damages under Force majeure conditions like fire, war, strikes, earthquakes, tsunami, floods, water seepage due to heavy rains, improper storage, electrical interferences, and or the hand of God under which Hydrolift does not have any control over such incidents.
  • All the test parameters, specifications, weights and load charts are indicative and shall not be used as warranty claim for changes of properties of values.

There shall be no cash back on warranty claim. The equipment under warranty shall be repaired or replaced as per the assessment of the damage and Hydrolift shall not be responsible for any consequential damages arising out of such warrantyclaims.
